I enjoy a discussion on a subject that I find of interest. Lots of things. Trouble is it's hard to locate a particular discussion unless you are in a forum that I subscribe to - right now - Hippies, Ask Old Hippies, Christianity and a few others.
If not you just have to hope your thread gets picked up in all the other post and has not passed beyond sight.
And - As another poster said - there's a lot of prepubes on this site who mind is strictly on sex and drugs - it's nature - mine was too. If you interest lie in a particular are, subscribe to that forum and then when you post people in that particular forum will be notified.
It ain't easy - but all in all HF is a hellova lot of fun. Don't give up on it. Everybody thinks like you are thinking at times.
