How to create world peace in one easy step

To answer the first question; all except "consciousness" describe physical events.

As for the other questions; I have no idea my friend.

 

I shouldn't have presented this idea the way I did. I forgot that I'd thought about it a while ago more as political ploy to try and counter Chinese and Russian power than anything else. Power over it's on people as well as us and in the case of China pretty soon pretty much evertying.

 

I not clear on how this would work. Let's suppose that the US and Canada join the proposed UDS, but Mexico doesn't make it.

What happens then? Do we build a wall along the border?

Further south, do we still import Venesualian oil?

 

If any country didn't make it then the government there would have to reform and it would be illegal for American's or any memeber of any of the UDS countries to trade with them until there was political reform. Memeber states don't trade with any none members in anyway and make it illegal for any citizens and buisnesses to do so. In fact everyone who joins could break off diplomatic relations with non-members to really ratchett up the pressure.
I suppose you could build a wall if the govt. was so inclined.I guess it'd be help because it'd make it harder for anyone to trade with Mexicans and it'd be easier to police...cheaper to police.
and yes. You'll have to do without Venesualian oil and they'll have to do without your money. This would cause political unrest in Venezula with who knows what consesequences. But the UDS wouldn't get involved in any way until a Venulzalian govt. applied for membership and the monitors of the U.D.S agreed that the election were free and fair or met democratic standards and rules set by the membership of the U.D.S. Then everything get's back to normal and the U.D.S has a new member with vast oil resourses that make it even more powerful.
The Russians and Chinese would still be totally excluded resulting, in the same thing with what happened in Venezula and it just goes on like that until every undemoratic govt. has chosen to reform or because of political unrest has been forced to reform or been replaced in a revolution. It's like what the 'west' feared would happen with communism in the last century...the so called domino affect...but with democracy spreading instead of communism. Obviously it could all go wrong and result in a nuclear war but...that's politics!

It sounds sort of like how the embargo is supposed to de-communize Cuba.

Whatever the next person you see asks you, maybe you can say Yes. What would happen to the world if for one minute, everyone said Yes? There would be a peaceful revolution. Could there be anything but peace?

Is this specifically anti Chinese? I think China's rise to prominence will probably be a positive thing. They're growth has not only helped their own people, but people in Cambodia and Vietnam has well. It's not a particular military threat, and they are slowly becoming more socially liberal.

Not to say it's paradise, they execute the hell out of people, and there's pretty heavy political censorship.

But I think disengaging them in diplomatic dialogue wouldn't be at all helpful. I think it would heighten tensions and wouldn't encourage any sort of democratic development.

I can't off the top of my head think of any successful diplomatic isolation attempts.

 

This is pretty close to the truth... however the monied and powerful are not above using idealism as a tool to manipulate the masses into believing that the greedy power brokers are idealists.

 

The real power broker is metabolism but we easily forget that because we assume today is not our day to die. This awareness just might cause one to make different and more timely investments. Our complaints are luxuries.

 

The world is just not that simple today . There are so many complexities involved . What your suggesting is just another example of world government and control . This is how N.A.T.O. and the United nations started out after ww2 . Look at its corrupt nature today . Its totalitarian ,elitist and bully mentality . it's mass consumerism , total disregard and depletion of natural resources. It's global leaders war criminals the whole lot , and intelligence agencies who have slaughtered or condoned while others slaughtered millions .

There is no way for ANY peace on earth , through ANY form of government . All forms have been and or will be corrupted by mans greed and petty insecurities . The earth will NEVER know peace untill man changes himself . And that my friend is just NEVER going to happen . Until we learn the real definition of brotherhood , and begin to put others needs ahead of our own , all is lost . Until we stop accepting the nonsense notion wealth and materialism is okay in the western world , while the rest live in abstract poverty and misery, we are doomed . We are our brothers keeper . Until the lust and greed for money within our hearts is replaced by love , sharing , acceptance and understanding to advance all our brothers and sisters of the human race at once together , then greed, hate and ignorance shall remain as the corner foundation stones of mans wicked heart .

Peace is a pipe dream my friend , it shall never happen on this planet . Society will continue to unravel and erode until man destroys himself by nuclear holocaust , disease , starvation, over population, or God stepping in at the last second . He gave us free will and we used it for selfish pursuits and destruction .

 

Great, perhaps next week you can tell us how to reconcile the russians and chinese, how to build box girder bridges and how to make the perfect egg salad sandwich

 

Let me stop you right there! That might be the case now and in the short term but in the long term they are a profoundly serious military threat!!
