Basic ear piercings (2nd and 3rd)

Ok so i got my second holes in my ear done about 4 months ago, and third done about 3 months ago. They were never itchy or red or painful or anyof that but when i went to take them out they had a little knot where the post of the earring goes in. i left my earring in for 2 more weeks to be on the safe side. i clean em 2 times a day with the solution provided at the place i got them pierced and they dont hurt unless i take them out. they are gold and im not allergic to gold. wtf is up with this. what should i do?

 

Had the piercings been hit at all? I know mine tend to hurt if they get hit or if i sleep on them in a bad way. and about the bumps it could be hard to say. It might be just a scar from getting it pierced. it will hopefully fade with time..

 

yeah I had the bumps from the scar tissue...it went away in about a month or so. When I got my cartilage done, though, those bumps never went away. Rubbing alcohol works best when it comes to any possibility of infection. And you say you're wearing gold, but try getting hypo-allergenic gold studs...some of my gold earrings really hurt my ears if I wear them for longer than a few days but the hypo-allergenic ones never bother me at all
