If you live in or near Chicago, what are some of your favorite neighborhoods? Why?

I've been living here for 6 years but have basically been in the same two neighborhoods. The one I live in now is affordable but the parking situation is horrible and very few apartments here offer parking. I want a change but I also cant really afford to spend more than $800 in rent. If anybody has some ideas that would be great.

I live up off Irving park and pulaski area, look along the blue line belmont and northwest. Logan square is cheap in some areas, but the quality will be worse.

I have been to Rosemont a lot and i think it's a decent place and shouldn't be pricey at all. It's right off the blue line...close to ohare. I have never had any bad experiences and everytime chicago hotels are booked...i stay in rosemont so i can still get on the el to get where i'm going...but you're away from the bs in chicago...parking..high rent..etc. but yeat close enough to go back and forth to the city if needed to not a bad commute.
