So what's everyone doing for 420 this year? My city always has a big crowd of around 2000+ people gather in front of our main government building and light up for about 5-7 hours. This year I'll be away camping so I won't be able to attend. Anyone have any plans of protest? Smoke outs? Anyone going to join any public group for assembly and smoke? :ssmokeit:
I don't know. Could be me just chilling in my room getting ripped but it doesn't matter cause I'm excited. I remember my past three years of high school where I was living at home and I always said, "once you're in college you'll be able to smoke on 420 in peace". I think last year I took a hit or something while my mom was still home so I could experience it. So that's the only time I've been high for 420 but this time I can finally enjoy it to its fullest extent :ssmokeit:
A question for those who attend public gatherings and protests in the USA on 420. Do people get picked off and busted for smoking in public, even during peaceful protests? Here (Canada - at least in my city) cops just look the other way. Some stand close by, but only to get high off the fumes. The only people I've seen get busted on 420 were idiot kids who get loud, roudy, and out of control after smoking. Other than that, cops won't do shit if you pull out a fatty and smoke it right next to them.
^ is there a list somewhere i can look at too see which 'select theaters' the movie is playing? Also i am hoping that this year i can take part in some kind of 420 rally, anyone know of any gathering in Philadelphia?
Don't really have any plans yet but usually I go to a 420 music festival somewhere. Or just smoke out all day long with friends. :2thumbsup::ssmokeit:
I probably won't be smoking, but I HOPE to be tripping. It just depends on whether or not my mail comes anytime soon.
My city's main marijuana protest is the worldwide marijuana march, which happens early in May. I will just be blazing all day long with all of my friends. Wait.. how is this different from every other day again?
Where are you located lunaverse? I'm not sure what I'll be doing 420 but hopefully I will be attending the Toronto Freedom Festival again this year. It's sometime in May...most surreal experience ever. 40 000+ people walking a block around toronto blazing joints, bongs, blunts, you name it...and then heading back to the park where there were live bands, great food, free shit and guess what more weed?
I'll probably smoke a little bit.. but the real fun is smoking on 4/21 when most of the people I know have smoked their stashes on 4/20. :2thumbsup:
smoke all day, hang with friends, go to the park, maybe see the grateful dead movie. i would love to end up at a show or something though.
I will be working until 9pm and then might get a chance to enjoy it before I have to be up for work again.
I don't plan that far ahead. It's like waving a red flag in front of the Fates. But if I'm alive and reasonably well, I'll be lighting up somewhere, sometime on that day.
A friend came through for me today. Looks like I'll be getting high around a campfire with strangers.
