This isn't too weird but I figured someone would have a good answer. Basically, I went drug free (technically 4 days ago) and my dreams are ever-so vivid and I keep remembering them, much more than when I was a more chemically-sustained human being. I've been THC free for about 4 months, nicotine free for 14 days now and caffeine free for 4 days - and the more things I quit is the more vivid they become. Does anybody happen to know why this is? Why would chemicals (or stimulants, to be exact) cloud out the dream process and memories thereof? Thanks so much! <3
http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/exchange/node/442 It says towards the bottom of the article that stimulants may affect both intensity and length of dreaming.
