if i'm not mistaken Spice is solely comprised of natural herbs, i have not researched weither or not they are enhanced in some way, I plan n doing so because i plan on making a blend from my own herb garden. What I do know is that historically plants used to get buzzed in counterculture most commonly contain chemicals known as alkaloids. Many plants contain these and depending on the makeup it can cause either euphoric experiences to sudden death. many cheap shrooms are not in fact psychosiloids (sp?) but contain alkaloids, the trip being therefore your body's reaction to the substance which is technically poison. Spice I do not believe has any alkaloids that are particularly harmful but unlike THC it can be hard on the liver over time... I'll tell you more when I know!

JWH compounds which are synthetic cannabinoids . I believe spice uses JWH-018 at least the gold packs do.

This, although it's likely a different one now 018 is banned.
