This is an incredible day here in the hills and woods...It's dark, overcast, raining almost constantly. The Thunder and Lightning are of the house shaking variety. Visiblity is cut leaving distant landmarks to look like wraiths that blur in and out of sight. Frogs can be heard at times, then drowned out by the steady drip and beat of the rain. Our normally quiet road is abandoned. The power has been out. Nature rules, mankind stays in his hopefully safe little shelters. Nothing from the outside world has intruded save for this dim screen I play on...and who really knows if this thing is real. Are there really other people out there or is this thing just some silly delusion of entertainment? I love days like this...not that I would want them as a steady diet but their rareity makes them delicious. Anybody else got this weather going on...or like it.
the sun is like a mother giving nourishment to everything,they can talk forever saying it is a big ball of gas,but those that know different,can really enjoy its majesty:sunny:how many people even bother to watch a sunrise in these times
In the 80's here today, storms on the way however this eve....I can hear thunder in the distance from my hilltop farm...;-)
yep. it was already thunderstorming by the time i left for work at 8:30 this morning, and hasn't really stopped since.
It’s cloudy outside with an occasional passing shower and 39 degrees fahrenheit :2thumbsup: Some people don't like this weather but I love it Hotwater
I miss thunder/lightning storms. I've only seen lightning twice and haven't heard thunder at all in the past two years.
