    as anyone else heard the legend of shangri-la being inside the earth?and some german folks went to find it in the 40s,an entrance somewhere on top of the north pole,saying the people there are pure of heart and they have these craft to go tothe surface maybe ufos?

    Yes, I've heard that there were some people in 1930's Germany who thought there was an entrance to the inside of the earth near the top of the earth. There were a lot of wacky occult connections within Naziism, taken more or less seriously by various people within the upper echelons. The ones who didn't fully believe still considered those beliefs as possible "hooks" by which to motivate people.

    Shangri-La is a fictional place described in the 1933 novel Lost Horizon by British author James Hilton

    In the book lost horsion shangri la was a monistery in Tibet . In a p.b.s. story Michal Wood went looking for shangri-la and found some old monistories. desert rat

    the shanrgri la's are a decent band.
