im starting my first mushroom grow and i have really small jars. half the jar is full of myclin and the other half is just the substraight. next to the myclin there is a little bit of black/green mold. should i take the chunk of myclin out and move it to a new jar or should i wait for it to all grow?
my only problem is i dont have anymore spores so should i keep some myclin and start it in a new jar?
you could but I can not guide you around that. While an amateur could do it. Only true pros in mycology with all the tools can pull it off... Its spring and there are many deals on spores via net sales/ better luck next time..
I enjoyed sneaking into cow pastures and looking under cowpies honestly. There's a certain thrill about it.
