So... I shoplifted a $17 bottle of kava kava extract the other day, was really curious about it. I mean its chill but I remember I heard people comparing it to vicodin?? Haha no fn way. Its just really chill relaxant, but it doesn't do much. Kinda dissapointed. Anyways It said to put it in hot water so I did (I finished the bottle already) But I was wondering, does warm water activate the kavalactiods? or what. Also how does it compare to kratom?? thats the other legal one I wanna try. But if its effects are as weak as kava I might just be over it.
Hot water won't do anything, but I heard what can help is putting something fat like flax seed oil to help with absorption. You are right, Kava is nothing like Vicodin, but I like it alot. I don't know about extracts though. Never done that. I use pure ground Kava root and mix it with milk. It's quite relaxing, and it freezes your face!
Purity and potency vary GREATLY with herbal supplements like kava, so shop around. To me, kava was like a combination of Xanax and nitrous oxide the first time I tried it. I use it periodically as a sleep aid and it works every time, unlike valerian. Kava and vicodin are from different drug classes and don't have much in common besides relaxation and slowed heartbeat/breathing. Kava is more closely related to depressants like benzos and alcohol, while kratom gives more opiate-like effects. I took kratom once and found it VERY similar to vicodin but stronger. For some reason, I had horrible after-effects that lasted just under a month from that one dose, so I had to throw it out. Have never heard of anyone else experiencing that so I wouldn't let it stop you from checking it out. High quality kratom at the right dose has the potential to be very similar to an opiate high.
Shiit really? that sounds dope. Thanks for the reply, mabey I really shouldn't give hope in these drugs! Hey if you are cool please pm me the link to the store you bought from and got those results, thanks
