Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and dreads and just have a few questions. Okay so I had my dreadlocks back-combed in about 3 and a half weeks ago now and they still just look like wads of knotted hair... What's going wrong here? I mean, they feel pretty tight but they just don't look like everyone eases I've seen. And like I said, it's been almost a month now. It helps when I put wax in but I'm using it up too fast, I can't afford to keep doing that. Basically I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to speed up this process, I'm getting a lot of weird looks lol
Chill, everyone's dreads are different, I' d ditch the wax too, this stops the dreads from moving around and knotting up. Dreads take time and will look like shit for the first year or two. So just sit back, relax and palm roll your dreads often and they will look great.
Oh man, I feel sorry for you dude, you're gonna get thrashed here... I'd close this topic and read the stickies if you don't feel like reading 10 pages of mockery and ridicule... Jimbo, 420 posts \m/

I don't get it! "........But You Are Most Certainly "The Wisest"...." Indeed it would seem I am not wise
Really? 4/20, April 20th. National Stoner Day lol. I guess if you don't partake, it would not make sense. I always notice when I see that number pop up though. Simple pleasures
There Are Times When GLEN Just Can't Help Himself, And This Is A "Classic Example". Another Day, Another "One Post Wonder"....:coffee: Cheers Glen.
Dreadlock quality is a direct linear function of the amount of wax put in. More wax, better locks faster.
