Does anyone else suffer from heel pain? I usually get this excruciating pain the morning after wearing shoes:(. And to add insult to injury I primarily get the pain in my right heel. I'm guessing this has something to do with the fact that when I do wear shoes I tend to wear down the heel on my left shoe first and my right heel must overcompensate for it in some way. Maybe it's time to see a chiropractor and see if he can't figure out what's amiss.:)

If the pain is in the sole towards the heel, it could be plantar fasciitis.

Quoted from the linked Wikipedia article:

"Research has existed for more than ten years supporting regular calf stretching as a treatment method to decrease heel pain. Treatment options for plantar fasciitis include rest, massage therapy, stretching, weight loss, night splints, motion control running shoes, physical therapy, Cold therapy, orthotics, anti-inflammatory medications, injection of corticosteroids and surgery in refractory cases. As there is evidence that people's footgear largely contributes to their foot problems, walking barefoot is beneficial. Also, in some cases, massaging of the inflamed location serves as a temporary relief for an extended period of time."

But, to get a sure diagnosis, best see a doctor about it and get well soon.

when my hips are out of alignment i tend to walk differently and i have heel pain a visit to the Chiropractor usually fixes it up.. Then again i've had lower back surgery and since then my hips are always messed up and i do have a limp on my right side which causes most of my problems.. Chiropractors are usually cheaper than podiatrist most foot dr's will try and sell u inserts to correct your feet problems wich can range from 350$ and up been there done that still had the problems afterwards.. Best of luck
