I consider myself to be fairly intelligent, have a very high IQ yet I have a learning disability that makes me transpose both letters, numbers and sentence structure. I had to learn to read through memorization but learning to read that way has made me incredibly gifted in other areas. Ignorant and mean people should piss you off not bad spellers.

 

No...It wasn't in the thread, but randy, you were complaining about grammar and spelling. A friend of mine from the forums liked to complain about people misspelling definitely. I thought it was fitting

Randy, your post pissed me off....at first. Because people who nitpick little things about other people piss me off to no end. I agree spelling is important, but this is a web forum, not someone's thesis.

But then I had to laugh.... because you made spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. That made it funny.

And everyone's responses were funny too. LOL

I can't spell worth shit..but I don't really care.. its not like I am in a english class or something....

 

I fudge my spellings a lot. Especially on words that I don't use often. Double consonants throw me off a lot for some reason too. But fucking morons? I can do enormous calculations in my head, I can think through complex trig formulas etc faster than most people can do simple multiplication on a calculator. We all have strengths and weaknesses. That's how life works. Your strength doesn't make you any stronger than the guy that shoots 95% 3 pointers, and vice versa.

 

maybe every time before i come and post on here i should go warm up on my speak 'n spell...

Notice all the corrections that I have made on this thread. Most of these corrections are simple spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization errors. It is funny how he is ranting and raving about spelling and grammar errors when he himself makes errors in his typing. I know everyone is not perfect and bla bla bla bla but if your going to bitch about the english language and how no one really understands the proper use of grammar than you should at least show in your typing that you are what you say you are. Someone who knows the english language my ass. It would have shown in your typing.

On to people that can't spell or use grammar worth a damn. That pisses me off as well. I am always finding mistakes here and there ( as you can see). I am a walking dictionary.

 

Chaos makes a good point. Everyone has different strengths I can't do math worth a damn, I totally admit that... but I'm really good with kids, and also have a totally photographic memory. My boyfriend is an ace with numbers but can't remember shit. So there! ROFL
