Rainbow gatherings in the USA vs other countries

    It seems all the rainbow people I have met have recommended I go to my first gathering anywhere but the USA. Allegedly, the American gatherings have a shittier vibe, and are prone to more problems.

    Any truth to this? My gut feeling is yes, but I would like to hear some more opinions...

    Rainbow Gatherings are pretty open to interpretation... I've heard stories ranging from horrible, to super awesome amazing, from different people at the same gathering....

    usually it seems to me that how someone spends their time at a gathering dictates thier impression of it...

    perception is reality, and there is a veritable 'rainbow' of experiences to be had at any gathering
