so i reacently saw the structure of acetaminophen for the first time and the first thing I noticed that it looked a whole hell of a lot like a methanphetamine. so for the past week ive been wondering if it was phisicaly possible not to turn it into meth but to turn it into an mdxx kinda substance, and im pretty sure it is, but I'm just a guy who likes to think up stuf like this to challenge the mind i dont really intend to do this or have experience so correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not concerned with extraction from the undesired products so I'm leaving all that out but anyways this would be the proposed route of synthesis:

Step 1: Asprin + H202 or bleach into mostly Acetamide, N-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl) as seen below
step:2 converting the 3,4 dimethyl group into a methylene dioxy group the same way you would mdma

    step 3-?:
replace the ketone wiith a methyl group... im not to sure how to do that...

Aspirin/ and acetaminophen are 2 different things.. but I see what your trying to do there...

but while your at it, could you possibly break down Aleves and make synthesized Cannabinoids?.

We have one of those already, it's the pharmaceutical company's attempt to get in on the medical pot business and eventually own it.
