You're stressed, every little thing seems to annoy you. What now? For me I light some incense(sandalwood is my favourite). I play some Sigur Ros, I breath deep and think of all the little things I enjoy that will always be there. Tall trees, the smell of fall, hot beverages that calm you in comfy clothing. Exploring some place new, a thrifty purchase, walks down the trail- nature in all it's beauty. How i've come a long way, that i'm growing. All the troubles seem so insignificant- even the big ones. Because I can get through it, and you can get through yours.

What's your secret for an off day? :sunny:

    I totally agree.
I would add just one more thing; sleep in until as least 10:30, but maybe go as far as 12:30. (The 12:30 works really well during football season. Wake up, brew the coffee, sit your ass on the couch and boom it's kickoff.)

I love making music, it's awesome to create something so powerful :D Writing is also my passion :D And I love spending time with my family, friends and animals :D I guess I'm just a family orientated person. :D The people who make music with me are like my family too. I basically just relax, create something beautiful and then spend time with those who matter most to me when I have an off day

    What's a day off?

Sorry I work 7 days a week, Shit over the weekend I work 20 hours so I almost don't know what downtime is.

Sometimes when I do get a day off I'll have a Hippie Speedball (Weed and Coffee) and do the same morning shit I usually do just in slow motion. If I had my new bass I'd play that for a while too.

That is what I meant. I noticed a lot of people took it literally like I meant a day off of work. I actually meant when you're stressed, what do you do about it?

When I'm having an off day, I usually write or meditate.

When its nice out, I enjoy going hiking or for a mellow walk through the neighborhood and I'll take random pictures as I'm out and about. I find it peaceful to be outside when my mood isn't the greatest

I go swimming at a nearby swimming pool or for a run to get rid of the tension and clear my head. Other times eating ice-cream or some other dessert and spending time with bf or friends works better. It all depends on why I'm feeling stressed.
Spending time alone at my place doesn't work for me, though. That's good when I'm exhausted and overworked but not when I'm stressed about something.

2 words that I have found help immensely when things aren't going right and often change the course of an of day are "FUCK IT". Simply expressing these 2 words either verbally or mentally can release the stress of having an off day. It has happened to me a million times and then all of a sudden with the utterance of those magic words everything falls into place.
