First we have the radicalization hearings, now this. Is anyone else flashing back to the 1930s and 40s in Germany? This is horrific. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/apr/02/pastor-terry-jones-burning-koran
I think to blame Terry Jones for the massacres is to endorse murdering people over burning books. I don't think what he did was by any means rational, virtuous, or the least bit decent. But c'mon -- can you see a massacre in America because ONE PERSON in another country burned a Bible? This feeble-minded, stubborn old man is not the one you should be directing you anger towards. How about the ones that are using his actions (and their holy book) to justify murdering you?
Islam has been very successful at getting everyone else to accept blame on others for Islam's atrocities. Islam is to blame for Islam's atrocities. I do not endorse what that preacher did; but to say he is the cause of innocent others being murdered elsewhere is to accept that bullshit that Islam is not to blame for it. It IS to blame.
RIGHT ON! Pure ignorance! I love the bit where that guy vandalised Jones's sign with "Love all men".:2thumbsup:
Hey, hey: right on. Islam can and does participate in the freedom of involvement of the individual's consent to government. That includes the privacy for how people conduct their business. It was always much harder to have a business without participation with the common good in national government.
