What song or track are you totally obsessed by right now

for me it is "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division
the words are so beautiful and so desperate and so desolate at the same time
its so melancholy and yet so beautiful

You heard all of Unknown pleasures?

love will tear us apart is the most odd sounding Joy division song.

    Animals on tv singing
about something that they once felt
there’s no one i disapprove of more or root for more than myself
i wanted to pretend that it was better, better, better on the phone
i didn’t wanna tell you i was jealous, jealous, jealous and alone
so we talk about ourselves and how
to forget the love we never felt
oh, we owed jokes that work so well
you never were so sure, was the moment
    don’t try to stop us
    don’t try to stop us
    don’t try to stop us
    get out of the way
-“Life Is Simple In The Moonlight “
    The Strokes

this or maybe 'Taken for a fool' off the same album.

I was obsessed with this song for weeks. It's weird cos I never usually listen to female singers so I didn't know good ones existed!

john mayer- slow dancing in a burning room (live in LA).

he's an underrated guitarist, just because his singles are bubblegum true music fans tend to gloss over him. he is extremely talented though.

I have heard a few by talking heads my favouritre one is where he is singing something like "I come home to my beautiful wife and I say, this is not my house" I know one thing that guy who wrote the words is an artist in the full on meaning of the word artist. Thanks for posting the youtube of it. I listened to it all

Is that really you? I listened about halfway through and liked it enough so i will at least add it to my favourites in my bookmark folder. Keep playing its better than a lot of guitarists I have heard and sounds like you know what you are doing with guitars lol
    Very good Thank you
I dont know what that style of music is called but I like it when I hear it

meeehhh. He is a talented musician, but he's also a sell-out douchebag. He SHOULD be playing the hell out of some blues guitar, but instead he's busy writing douche bag pop songs and trying to get famous. I give him props for being a talented musician but I still can't stand him.

Yes it's really me. The style is technically labled 'Instrumental Indie Folk'.

Thanks! I appreciate it! I plan on playing for as long as I shall live. :)

^I Will Follow You Into the Dark makes me cry everytime I hear it. Remember me telling you about my sad day music in another thread? This song is definitely part of that collection. It reminds me of a time when a good friend of mine deployed to Iraq. He made it back safely, thank god, but I would listen to this song with tears rolling down my cheeks when he first deployed.
