please wear sunblock when going out in the sun. you look silly with the white tan lines from your sunglasses on your face.

Sunblock causes skin cancer. Compare skin cancer statistics pre sunblock to today. There has even been a study that explained why sunblock is causing cancer that I read about and don't have the motivation to dig up now. Do some research before you slather nasty chemicals on your skin.

Rule of thumb: For every 10 SPF, you can be out 10 more minutes in the sun without burning. If it takes you an hour in the sun to burn and you put on 50 SPF, you have an additional hour before you need to reapply.

I hate sunblock... Sometimes you don't really have a choice about it though so it is smart.

because i heard somewhere that it is. also a supermodel named Giselle speaks out against it, she says she never uses it; that it is bad for you; that you need Sun.

Umm, some places it doesn't matter who you are, the sun WILL burn you, and it will be horribly painful.

That fo sho. I'm lucky I brown more than burn, but if I'm out on the water all day in early summer without sunblock.. I roast. My entire body peeled once.

Sunblock protects you from UV rays. Those are linked to skin cancer, which can be very nasty.

I do not tend to use it if I am going in and out and do not have exposure for more than a few minutes at a time.

If I am going to be out in the sun for more than that I do use it. Last year was the first year in three that I could be outside in the sun at all and I fried. Started to use 50 and was alright after that.
