I've read about the history of fractional reserve banking and I'm familiar with it. I'm also quite familiar with the Rothschild family, the Jeckyll Island meeting, the U.K.'S role in gathering money for the banks by instigating war during the 20th century, and so on. I'm familiar with it.

First of all, that youtube video in your op is garbage, notice how the document is nice and blurry. I see this kind of shit everyday, considering I'm interested in conspiracy. Thousands of misinformed, scare tactic pushing, conspiratorial (often young) people spin these webs, and when the truth is learned by the viewer, all the conspirator's credibility is lost.

As for elections, was it not one of the Rothschilds (perhaps a Rockefeller) who said that they don't care what goes on in a country as long as they control the money?

I can see how perhaps those who run the banks would throw more money at the electoral run of a guy like Harper, considering the fact that he wants to privatize our health care, spend more money on war related weapons and vehicles, etc. He would essentially "earn" more money for the banks and big corporations and would thus end up giving more money back to the hands he borrows from.

I don't however believe that our elections have gotten to the point where they are completely a dog and pony show to give the public the illusion that we actually have a say in who runs our country. Canada is not there yet.

 

We're used to republican dirty tricks here,going way back to Nixon and the papers in the pumpkin patch.
