I find that it acts a lot like a conditioner. Ive been using dr bronner's peppermint soap bar on my hair for a month or two and I wanted a change. So I bought the rose kind and my hair looks more and more like normal hair instead of my normal beginner locks when i use it. I also tried to use a different brand of organic rose soap bar and it did the same thing. Not sure if it's just my hair though. Just thought I'd share that experience in case you wanted to know! (though you might have already known)
Does the peppermint act the same way? I bought rose dr.bronners cause everyone was raving about bronners and all my dreads fell out im looking for something else to use.
It's just the timescale your dreads are going through and the fact you have changed shampoos. Doubt it's anything to do with the essential oil.
switching shampoos every so often is good for your hair. that may be what it is. I do like rose bronners the best, though.
Has anybody ever tried adding a drop of attar of roses (oil of roses), which is Very Potent smell-wise, to a bottle of say almond base?
