a dress for my friend M!

I'm obsessed with the Grateful Dead! They are always playing when I sew in my room! I've always loved the "Moondance" image on one of their albums so I turned it into a dress!

This dress took me about 3 hours to make (there were breaks-obviously teehee) I used a really durable blue cotton blend fabric for the base and green, black, orange and yellow quilter's fabric for the applique.

I thought it would be cool to have an elastic waist with corset-like loops! What do you guys think?!!

This dress was my favorite of ALL time to make.

Very nice! The back is awesome. :)

A pretty blouse, and a bigger bow in the back would drive me bananas! :D

    I love the elastic.
My one and only patchy dress (which was a custom long-bodice from a former forum-member back in the 90s) had major issues with the gap, so I had to modify it slightly to avoid butt cleavage!
I hope the new owner likes the dress.

I do the samething. I stich designs into most of my clothes, but just designs made from string that I thread through. I put the steal your face emblem on one of my shoes and a crop circle and a dancing bear on the other

Blue, pink, white, multi color dresses is always loved by everyone especially in summers. I must say this dress is very pretty. Is this dress is printed or its patched work.
