An old friend once told me "It's all about the people you meet." we were talking about learning about the land and journeys and how we got to where we were and I never fully understood it until just recently when I read the Celestine Prophecy and it was talking about how everyone we cross paths with has a message for us and vice versa. Anyway, it's very cool to really believe that and see it happen. and even think back on the people who I'd met for 2 minutes that changed the way I was thinking, or the direction I was going. and all the lessons people have taught me.
i agree.... you know, you hear that so often.... "in the end, it was all about the connections made", but it's difficult to be in a continuous state of respect for all the people who enter our lives, no matter how briefly, to teach us or be taught. even responding to this message is in some way a connection, you know? i read the celestine prophecy a year or two ago; though it wasn't by any means one of my all-time favourite reads, i think it carries some important messages about accepting all people peacefully, as possible life lessons or messages. peace, earthfriend. ..welcome to the forums, too. sophia
its the beauty of life. every step we make are left the impressions of ourselves on others and others on ourselves. its how one person can change the life of someone they may never meet. its how one person can help change the world with a simple smile, a hug, a kind word, or an act of kindness.
when you're walking down the street, it's the people in your neighborhood...sorry I am around children too much
