My girlfriend can't smoke anything because of health issues. She really wants to enjoy pot with me but we're looking for alternatives that aren't food related. Maybe vaporizing works? Ideas are appreciated Thanks in advance.
Yes vaporizing works very well i think and i use mine nearly every day and if i thought for a second it was hurting me id stop , i only really smoke if im going on a hike and ill roll instead since i cant take my vape.
a vape would probably be ok, tinctures would work, but why no food? is she also not allowed to eat? is it an impatience thing (it does take longer to hit you, but ive never had an issue with waiting a little bit)
Hey everybody, thanks for the responses. I never tried food because I'm not much of a cook. Any of you know of something very easy to prepare?
wine/beer made with mj is pretty nice and it's fairly easy to do... it's the waiting that is the hardest part...
one of the best way to consume marijuana: Headie goo balls 1 1/2 cups cannabutter 3 cups oats 1/4 cup peanut butter 3 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons cinnamon 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder Directions Melt the cannabutter in a microwave safe bowl. In a large bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, honey, cinnamon, and cocoa. Pour the cannabutter on top and stir until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Place the bowl into the freezer for 10 to 20 minutes. Form the mixture into individual balls, using your hands or a #20 ice cream scooper, and drop them onto wax paper to set. Try adding chopped walnuts, raisins, or crisped rice to add a little spin to the recipe. If the result is too gooey, add more oats. If it’s too dry, add more peanut butter or honey. hope you like.. i've used it personally so you can neg rep me if you don't like.. dont be devious though
IMO the best way to get MJ into food is make butter with it. then you can use the green butter to replace some or all of the butter in your recipe, depending on the potency of the butter. i dont have a recipe, i live in an apartment, and it can get smelly to make, so i have butter made for me. you could also use oil in place of butter. i know you dont want the heat too high. also, i am not a fan of leaving the weed in the butter, i prefer it strained.
yeah if you make butter you don't have to be a good cook, just make the butter and add it to any recipe requiring butter. Brownie mix is really easy to make, even a child couldn't mess that up.
but if it's not food or drink for sure, then, as you said, vapourising is a really cool way to inhale the smokeless THC
Thanks all. We're getting a vaporizer. I think it's cheaper if I get one online. If any you have any suggestions let me know. Anything under 100 would be perfect. Thanks again.
we have a Vapor Brothers, (hands free) and i really like it. http://www.vaporbrothers.com/pages/products.html i dont remember how much it cost, but i am pretty sure it was more than $100. but totally worth it.
Thanks ML. I liked this one: http://www.vaporwarehouse.com/vaporbrothers-handsfree-vaporizer.html Butttt...it cost 184 Which one is the hand free one?
the hands free is frosted around the end, so its a bit grippy. then theres the fancy whips, but we dont have those. cheaper vapes have never worked well for me. a friend of mine had a square one, with a nub that stick out, but the vapor brothers is more contained, so you arent as likely to brush against it and get burned. also the angle helps keep it on there with the hands free. the ones with a screw in the center just burn weed in my experience. it is a little steep. we saved up for it, but its also an investment in your health. and its not as expensive as a volcano
I know someone who was born with asthma. He has grown out of a lot of the symptoms now that he is 24. He has always had a hard time smoking daily, because all of the resin that builds up in our system, for him, it cuts his breathing. 2nd hand cigarette smoke does the same thing. He now only uses a vaporizer for his THC intake and loves it. I now have a vaporizer myself and notice a huge difference. Its nice not putting all those carcinogens in your lungs. I recommend!
