Has anyone ever experienced, or heard tales of, the experience known as the time slip? When I was 17, I was on a family holiday in france, and one day I wandered away from my family, and ended up in a strange area full of tents and what looked like temporary buildings. I soon realised it was a military camp, and I got talking to a handsome soldier, the odd thing being that he seemed to speak german, rather than french, and that they had uniforms that seemed to me nothing like the soldiers I had seen on tv before, much more oldfashioned, anyway we got by on what english he had, suffice to say that one thing led to another and I spent the night in the odd village. I hurried back home next day promiseing I would return to see him, but when I came back a day later I could find no trace of the encampment, and I even asked a passing walker if there was a german area near by, and got laughted at! At this point, I realized something was very wrong with me, and that I needed to get back home. I wandered through the neighborhood. A bit into my trek, I experienced amnesia, and I suddenly began looking for my house, which was a several miles away. I didn't realize this, however, and began searching for landmarks from my neighborhood that I would recognize. At some point, my train of thought changed once again. I made my way out of the neighborhood, onto a sidewalk. I began walking. I would hear a cellphone ring periodically, and I’d pull it out of my pocket as if to answer it. I brought it up to my ear, and at that point I would realize that there was no cellphone in my hand, and that I didn't have one on me at all. I remembered passing a single track railway, which apparently hasnt existed in france since the 19th centurey!? Spookily enough, I did some research years later and found out in 1871 a prussian military camp was based there during the war. After this i cant really remember walking anywhere but my speech got slurred and i remember the road turned too nets and i was scared that they would catch me. We were heading for a friends house who was with us at the time and this is where i got really bad. When we got too his house i fell over on his concrete a lot and wrecked up my knees and then i just sat there. I walked inside after that and for some reason i was just laughing and i crawled around, finding my place underneath his table. On the way too his house apparently i was crawling too get away from the nets, probly adding to the pain in my knees. The only evidence of this encounter I had was a photo of some mosaics in the village that the soldier had showed me, when I developed them the photos didnt come out, and I later found out there hadnt been mosaics in the village for hundreds of years... when nature herself confesses and cries out by these outward declarations which she is able to put forth of herself..... Has anyone else had an experience of a time slip, or a sexual encounter with a ghost? I have...
Freakadelic, Wulf. I might be inclined to think, "psychotic episode?" But the historical existence of the camp tends to suggest something more...and anyway who the hell really "knows" anything about psychotic episodes...the human brain/mind contains mysteries not yet fathomed, and from what I've seen there may well be some overlap or even relation between psychic and psychotic. And I hafta say, it's such an intriguing experience that I wish I COULD have one. I've had plenty of other freakadelic experiences, but none of this ilk.
One of the more odd experiences in my life was something like this, when I was 12, in the woods behind my house. There was a girl about my age in the woods who asked me if I was a ghost and said she lived at a house behind my parents', sort of. After talking that day, never saw her again. Had that same disorienting experience, and never saw any kid around again. True to Ariel's word, I've had some experiences with spirit, but nothing really too big in my adult life.
I had a few experiences like that when I was living in Amsterdam. I remember standing on a bridge looking at a church by the canal. Suddenly I felt out of time, and deja vuy! I was there in another time, and of course nothing visually had changed in the scene since it was the same for more than 300-400 years...but the sounds changed. No car traffic, it was nearly silent for a couple of minutes. But no, I didn't meet any ghosts (at that time, anyway) However before I moved to Amsterdam, I'd already believed I'd lived there in the past as I'd dreamed about it, even before I knew the place I was dreaming about was Amsterdam. Wow, weird coincidence just happened. Right after I typed the last paragraph, I turned around and there was a wine box with the word "Ariel" on it...never noticed it before... If I see the word again today in another context, it will mean something... Three times is always the charm.
Was drinking a glass of Burgundy dry red wine. and working with energy. Saw your post and it made me smile. Time often over laps, and I think its stranger still when we do not see and experience these wonderful bubbles of energy. Time shifts for me are a bit like shape shifting. Once you get in the hang of it you can call forth and create the necessary shifts to experience the energy and information you are opening to. As I said in channeling class the other day, one must sometimes ask "what is the dream and what is not... that we are one and part of?"
I have always believed that if you can imagine the time period you want to be in so clearly and perfectly. You will be there. Good meditation, constant focus and working with psychedelics are the tools to time travel. We don't need a machine to do it. ---- V.O.T.
