To point out that the Carolinas haven't been a single enity since the 1700s or so and that you were in SC not NC. Things have been a little hectic here, sorry folks.

On the lottery thing we're in. One detail that needs deciding is how we'll handle prizes that are less than the jackpot. Reinvest up to what point??? devide at what point??? etc.

 

We can reinvest on the tickets if we win 300 buy 300 tickets and so on untill we hit a big one and in a case like that we can decide weather to buy land or devide it up with the ones that put in. if we win a few grand, put it up for GE emergencies, we always are having one .. or buy land.

If we hit small pot roll it over till we win big. Whoever collects the $ and buys the tickets can pot the numbers of the tickets to keep everyone abreast of what numbers are being played and can follow along and everyone will know if we won and how much.

 

He just posted a thread asking after us. Then my wireless sig went down before I could answer him, so i left him a riddle so to speak to see if it's really him and if he answers I'll steer him home.

We would need a few million to start 'disneyland..it's the seed money that comes hard. The start money. After it's built then the $ come flowing in.. but you first have to have something for it to flow through.

There is just as much chance raising the $ as there is in playing the numbers to get the start money. There are still some of us that play the lottery. It could happen, it happens to other folks, why not us.. we got good karma dont we. We deserve something for all our trouble in the 60s/70s.

You dont like my idea.. do you have one?!? One that will work, one that will bring in the $$ needed to build. If so, bring it forth and lets get on with it.

Sorry, but I have actually gone to Nevada a couple of times in my life and sat in casinos and played straight seven card stud for 5 or 6 days straight. Once in South Lake Tahoe and one time in Laughlin. I do know how to not lose and how to come ahead.

 

OK. So are you gonna take the 75 a week and go to vagas and play cards and win the jackpot.

I would love to have enough cash to play blackjack.. it is a 50/50 chance and the odds are not with the house as the other games are.

We could set a time where we all vibe for winning numbers at the precise time of purchasing the ticket and see if that has any affect on the outcome.

I BELIEVE it can happen for us is we are all thinking positive about it.

The house doesn't have any games that they don't have an edge on. Otherwise they wouldn't make any money on it. And that kind of game would not be taking up their valuable floor space and they sure wouldn't be paying real money to an employee to stand there and deal the game.

First off, consider this. If you hit and go over 21 (bust) you are out. The dealer is still in. You go first. They go second. That's an edge. You go first. They are second.
You hit first.

In all games the house has the advantage. They are a business. With a big electric bill.

In Poker you are not playing against the house. The house is not in the game at all. It's you verse the other people. However, the house takes 3 and a half percent out of every pot. (Jackpot.) So, that if the pot is $100. they pull $3.50. (A table and dealer rent fee) If you won that hand you would get $96.50. Some of that money would have been the money that you had put in as your bets.

I get that you dont think that the lottery is The way but it is A way. There are many roads leading to Rome or more then one way to skin a cat.

It was just a window if anyone had something better to do. It's not set in stone.. you dont have to play.. IDK.. I just would like to do someting to get us what we would need to do what we want to do.
