Hey all I'm interested in becoming a nudist but I live in regional australia with no where safe really to start it, any suggestions?
Australia is one of the best countries in the world for Naturism (nudism). Please go to web http://www.aus-nude.org.au/ and you will find plenty of information. Also there is a couple of good magazines you can buy there. Let me know if you need more help.
Byron Bay has a nude beach but I cannot recall the name of it — Watego? Any of the big NSW national parks are great for nude camping — find your own space to set up. Great if you're a naturalist and like exploring the area, or swimming. So what if somebody ambles along and sees you in the buff. It's a bush setting — maybe even invite them to do the same (great ice-breaker!). Be wary of the temptation to go to Alexandria Bay at Noosa: it's not a legal nude beach and you can still attract the attention of the Constabulary because of its 'grey-area' nature at law. That didn't stop me from going there but I found beachgoers to be cold and unwelcoming and some activity in the scrub was very unbecoming of nudist beach etiquette. Have a took at The Australian Naturist magazine in most newsagents (you may have to ask for it): full listing of NSW beaches and resorts, plus heaps more interstate. Don't feel you're "left out" or isolated: once you slip into the groove you'll have a ball exploring the naturist world!
