lol no.. he was only about 16"... and with how well people do replicas these days.. if i caught something i would consider putting on my wall.. i would measure it well.. and take multiple pictures and then show it to a taxidermist
i like fishing, but im not very good at it. i almost caught one last year on lake granby, but it ate my bait and got away. fishing is an example of an appropriate life pace for me. like watching grazing animals, scattering feed for chickens, weeding a garden, crocheting. slow, steady, plenty of time for daydreaming while still being productive. fishing has the added bonus of being required to be quiet.
yup.. :2thumbsup: peace and quiet! Though it's kinda hectic right now since trout opener was just awhile ago.. and Pike/Walleye and Bass season have not started yet.. once may 14th comes(walleye opener).. streams will be more quite.. and even more once bass season opens(may 28th)
Far out, there's nothing quite like fishing and leaving the rest of the world behind. Hope you enjoyed yourself.
nice catch man! i don't know much about minnesota fishing, been once to i think koochiching lake? or is that the area? just remembered it for the funny name, so beautiful out there on the water.
I'm going fishing soon hopefully! One side of my family owns land with like 3 different ponds on it that are perfect for fishing.
heck yeah. the best way to live a life. I like how you said slow with plenty of time to daydream. I like my mind to feel relaxed and not like I am on some time schedule pressed to do stuff. just free to exist without any worries of having to do crap. just kick back and chill. the wilderness > fast paced city life
nah he just opened his mouth and swallowed the whole fish alive. him and other fisherman group together and they all do the same thing. Then someone times them to see how long they can keep the fish down before throwing it back up. about 15 fisherman all pitch 50 bucks into a bucket and the winner who keeps it down for the longest amount of time takes the bucket. the winner gets their name posted at the local fish bait store. and gets 25% off everything there for the rest of the year and also gets 2 free fishing rods. and also a article in the local news paper.
