    Hey Friends,
Posted this in the animals section too. Our dog just ate about 3 oz (3/4 of a bar) of dark chocolate (73% cacao)- can you please advise us what to do?

Write down this number and keep it near your phone--it might not hurt to program it into your cell phone either! It's the ASPCA's Animal Poison Control Center--their number is (888) 426-4435--tell them what happened, and they'll tell you what to do! I don't know what time your dog ate the chocolate, but I'd also take the dog to the vet as soon as possible! Blessings to you and your dog--hope everything turns out all right!

Is it the same dog from 3 years ago, or did the one from the original post die?

    Make your dog induce vomiting.

How big is the animal? Inducing vomiting is something that should only be done by a professional. If the animal seems okay, don't worry. At the time I'm writing this, it's way too late for that anyway. No emetics, no laxatives! Just let nature take its course and pray for the best.
