I cant stop eating those flapjacks you can buy in Sainsbury's by "The fabulous baking boys". They are absolutely delicious, but most food bought from a supermarket is very disappointing and all I usually think is that I wish i could find some food that tasted better than the rubbish sainsburys and tesco's push out, so I wondered what your favourite off-the-shelf food from a supermarket is I totally recommend the fabulous baking boys flapjacks from sainsburys and tbh thats all i recommend, other than that i say make yourself a nice baked potato
Ready-made meals, etc, also seem too salty for my taste. The best way to look at supermarkets is as suplliers of the various component parts for making your own meals to your own taste. That said, I like the in-store bakery at Morrisons. .
I do like Morrisons bakery bread. And their cream cakes too, better than Tesco's at least. I haven't been in an Asda's in a long time so I can't remember what their cakes or even bread is like. In saying that, I'm not keen on Sainsbury's meat but their veg is decent. Compared to Morrisons, I prefer their meat but their veg can be hit or miss. Still prefer butchers meat though.
