It's not just about You Ranger, what in the world would Rita do without you. There are no Old Hippie Retirement Homes yet.. Where would she go and who would be there for her. Who would we look up to and respect, who would we ask when we needed to know about things only you can answer.

Making us worry about you only shortens our lives and you not taking action to save your own ass can only lead to a Bad ending all the way around. We all have our fears and we all need uplifting when we are uncertain.

If you Give Up now, what message are you leaving behind about your life.. is it not worth saving. If all the knowledge you have gained is for not, then what do we have to look forward to. Should we all lay down and give up. Should we give in to the easy way out.

When have any of us ever taken the easy way. What would you tell your brother if it were he, or me. What would you tell me if I was the one needing a Life Saving operation and was to fearfull to get it.

Has your life been so bad that you think this should be your Karma. Would you acccept that 20 yrs ago. You want to have some land and plant a garden remember. You still have work to do. You have not finished. You have not passed on your knowledge yet.

You came here for a purpose and it wasnt to give up when things got tuff.

Find your center. Think beyond your ego and open up yourself to the possibilities before you. Your Heart is not pumping enough blood to your brain and you are there-by not thinking clearly. Now, you would not want to lay down and die if you had enough oxygen flowing through your Brain Cells and was thinking right.

You are stronger then you think. You Can and Will do this surgery. It's not just being stubborn. It's bc your brain is foggy and your not making rational decissions.

My own Father refused to have his heart surgery and died in my arms christmas eve 1975. I was 25. I was devestasted and I felt a pain I will never get over. It scared me. He was a great father and I couldnt understand why he would rather die then be with us.

It's the ones left behind that suffer from the loss. It's not only heartbreating, it's devastating and changes lives left behind in curel ways. Reach out and breath in the energy we are sending. Feel it, let it fill every cell in your body with life.

Remember why you came and the things that are left undone. If you dont finish you'll have to come back and start all over again. We're all going to assend together, remember.

Dont let the opportunity slip away. It wouldnt be offed free to you if you were not suppose to take advantage of it. This is your chance to live. To create, to fulfill your destiny as part of the Prophacy. You are a crucial componant in the plan. Remember!

Kenny, Thanks for the PM; although I just now caught up: Ranger; do it, Bro!. You are not the first "old warrior" to have this done. Mike James of the Country Fair had it done a couple years back, and my real long time pal (from Chicago) who is in Eugene had it done last Fall. Yea, it hurts, and the recovery is a bitch; but it beats the alternative.

To all;
On a darker note: we just lost Big Mike Motherfucker; heart attack. Obviously he was part of the MF Family (e.g. Chuck MF). Big Mike was a very large man with a gimp arm from birth. He was intimidating but his heart was as big as his body. Mike ran the hard road (like us) for many years and knew it well. For the last twenty years he was a drug counselor to youth trying to figure it all out. No one can tell you what it's like, like someone who's been there: Mike was a huge help to many. Hell, when I went before the judge for a bust in '90 (89?), I had to get as many "reputable" people to write good things about me so I could get less time. Well, Big Mike ran a halfway house in Eugene at the time and wrote off a long letter to the judge telling him how I was such a quality guy, HA!! LOL LOL!! :an old outlaw like Big Mike writing to the judge about me!! HAA! Well it worked (along with a bunch of other "reputable" reports) I only did 6 months!
So here's to you Big Mike Motherfucker; long may your stories be told!

Just called Rita.
Yes he's going to do it. He has talked with the doctors about what is entailed. 95% chance. One side of heart, aortas, 90% blockage, the other side 100% blockage. Plus we have the neck. Additional Surgery. 90%.

Personally, I say, the with 90% blood blockage to Ranger's brain, we should just have the hospital or the state or the V.A. go before a judge and have his declared mentally incompetent and then sign off on the surgery on his behalf, in his best interest.

I'm sending Rita some gas money for their big van so that she's not stuck broke on the side of the road going to and from the hospital. Obviously, they didn't make it to their swap meet, with all of this happening. No money.
If anyone wants to offer them some Spare Change now is the time to do it.

Thank You Kenny,Mary Jo, Mary,and Everyone here for your kindness and support. I don't know what I would do if it weren't for immediate access phone calls to Kenny or Eden....They just took Ranger down for an cat scan on his cartoid artrory(sp,sorry). So far it looks like they will do triple by pass but it will still be a few more days because the doctor is weaning him off one of his blood pressure meds before the surgrey can happening....he is very tired so hopefully he can sleep after they bring him back up but then it's dinner time then...poor guy is really exhausted! I will try to talk him into letting computer stay here in his room tonight so he can read and touch base with you all but if not maybe tommorrow...Love and Peace To You All...Rita

 

good fuckin deal was hoping ranger would decide to stay with us longer,where do i send gas money dont have much but been working 6 days a week lately. I will always have fond memrioes about mf way back when i took care of rifka while being pregant with erika and then when he and kathy had the house on the corner in eugene where we stayed after i left carl.we had many a good laugh and many good talks way into the night.May his soul be at rest. By the way where is chuck mf we were talking weekly on the phone then he disapeared. Cakes hope the stroms missed you tonight talk soon

 

Ranger........DUDE you will be 25 years younger feeling in less than two weeks so man you will be stoked AFTER this!!!.

I aint the preaching type BUT my friend, I had to go under the knife for 27 hours, have my guts put on the table next to me and have both sides of my spine fused and a rod system put in me so I could continue to move. I was told that Open Heart Surgury was a breeze compared to what I went through. AND MAN you are better than me so do not be afraid!!!! Also Ranger after they did the operation 7 months later the massive fusion popped loose and I had to go back in for the entire proceedure again and now I am a crooked little man who has gone through 2 20 hour plus operations!! Just over 5 years now and I am still causing trouble so you will not deny this!!! YOU UNDERSTAND!!!! AND FINALLY in 1989 the Fall at KBF crippled me (for a time) breaking my neck, crushed wrist, broken pelvis and crushed left shoulder that is also now completely metal!! I was one F uped MF and I got up and got my legs back wakled again and then went back on the Road with Andy Williams for three more years as his PM/SM and toured all over!!It was not easy!! It was hard!!! My kids and wife were really worried but kept it to themselves as well as they could till they got me in the wheel chair and pushed me into the pool and said swim or drownd!! I chose to swim. Ranger I am also living with lymphoma at the t7/t8 and I am not going to let it end yet!! Now you WILL get the bypass and you will be kicking ass. AND you will not let the sisters and brothers down who totally believe in you!!!! Get it over with now and then we can get back on Kenny magical mystry tour!!!

Mouse I am way bummed about Big Mike MF. Damn I did not get to talk to him for over 25 years and that upsets me. See all of us are getting aged and everyday we must cherish and if we allow ourselves to let our energy leave then those who are still here have less power of living and loving.

Damn last week my mom passed and Sheila and I were standing by her side as she went but she was 87!!! Shit the oldest of us is what 67? and the youngest still in the 50s so It is not time yet!!!!!!!!!! Also as you all may know Skyline Brad has a bad Cancer back in his lungs and I for one am not going to let him leave without making sure that I SCREAM not now not yet cause we have things to do!!! That Scream is to you to Ranger!!!!

When I see you ALL in my mind I see us as we are inside still young and ready to make a ruckus when needed and lend a hand when needed.

Chris so bummed about Brad really what we had for so little awhile has never left me would have stayed with him forever but fate had other plans for us both. As for Carl what can i say havent spoken to him in six years basically left me straving on the side of the road metaphocially, I see he doesnt have it to be on line wonder why? Worried for cakes and family weather is so severe where they are and no yet. Ranger and Rita keep the faith were still not there yet ,waiting for kenny to tell me where to send gas money. Cakes note. She said that she was going to Houston. I’m guessing her sister’s doctor. I’m praying that they stayed there for an extra day and that Lynn went with them too, because of the tornado report maps that they’re showing that are right on top of their house.


Tuesday. Apr 26, 5:30 Ranger Standard Time, the same time as Pacific Daylight Time. Go figure.

Talked with Ranger, first time in two days. The report was that he was too worn out, grumpy, and tired the day before. According to Rita.

He’s sounding better, bored as shit, and not aloud the stand up. It’s the first time that I have heard from him out of his own mouth that he is going to go through with it (the surgery). Rita told me that he was going to do it two days ago. But this is a first, direct from the horses mouth.

He’s thanking everybody. Cheryl, he’s thank you. Chris, he is very impressed with your long letter and with you getting on his ass, too. As well as others. Zev, Cakes, Mouseman.

He says that they are going to put some sort of pig valve in his arm, because they’ve kept the same IV in his arm in the same place for the past 5 days now. They can’t seem to hit a vein in the other arm. So, this will be for future IVs.

She told me that they have to wean him off of his blood pressure medicine first before they can think of scheduling his for surgery.
His says that they will be going into his carotid artery, first. (Neck) Clean that out. 90% plaque blockage. This is not as yet scheduled.

They brought dinner. Says looks like some kind of Gumbo and some pork loin.

Glad that Ranger is also getting the PICK VALVE attaching the ole pig part for the needles! I had one of those makes the I V issues easy no thrombosis that way!!! AND that he will be getting this done!!!! Now he will enjoy Good head rush just living and walking after he gets the blood flow back to full throttle!!!

Preparing an eulogy ( probally misspelled) right now for my mom. Family asked me to do it because the think I knew her best??? Shit I left home when I was 17!!!! Must be because Sheila and I had here live with us for 18 months. I did get a lot of her storys in that time so I will get it nice!!

Damn I hope Nails place is OK!!!

Hi Folks,
We're back from Houston.. DROVE THROUGH THE TORNADO coming home yesterday evening.

It was terrorfying, scary, exilerating, exciting as we sreamed and yelled as the baseball sized hail pelted the van. The driving wind was blowing 75 mph as we faught to keep the van on the road. Three lone women fighting the eleiment as trees uprooted and the debries flew hell west and crooked all around us.. we were riding the tail of terror.

We saw it coming into the Kaufman Country turn off. It was a huge black cloud, I mean blacker then anything I have ever see. We got closer and we could see the Claw come out of the cloud and look like it was pointing with an evil crooked finger toward the earth. We gasp and held our breaths as we approched the wicked funnleing.

There was no place to go, no place to hide, so we kept going down the interstate towards Dallas. The vile blackness was headed east and the road curved around west and got us out of harms way. By the time the interstate curved again the tornado had passed through. My niece who was with us, neighborhood was hit but her home was spared and her family in tact. Tho it did uproot a huge oak tree in their neighbors yard and toss it into the street. No One Was Harmed.

 

I am thrilled to know that Ranger IS going through the surgery.. Love You Ranger and Rita.

Chris, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how you must be feeling. I lost my own dear Mother in 02'. A Mother's love never dies.

Big Mike RIP Brother, see ya on the otherside.

My heart is so full, bittersweet. People are always saying, things are life and death, but it is not life and death, it is brith and death, life is eternal. Life continues on. The Spirit never dies it just changes dementions and adaps to the enviroment.

I believe, I trust, I carry on. I cannot break, I must be strong and go on and remain untill my own time catches up with me. I do not want to face what I am about to face with my sister. It aintagonna be pretty and yet again I'll be walking through Hell holding my sister's hand on her way over to the otherside. I pray she goes easy. She is being so strong but I know she is scared. I know she does not want to leave right now but things dont look like they are gonna roll thataway. The docs have nothing left.

I am relieved you all will be here to help me through it.
