I have taken quite a few drugs in my day, and have taken benzos for years, mainly Klonopin, but also Xanax. I am prescribed Klonopin currently. I really don't find them recreational, but they are good for anxiety and sleep.

So, I have always wanted to try another benzodiazepine- a really "hardcore" one. I always wanted either temazepam or oxazepam. Both are regarded as the holy grails of benzos. So, my mom, who has suffered insomnia for years but her crappy docters just had her on Ambien (which does nothing- I popped one once and notices nothing). So turns out they gave her a hefty supply of Temazepam. I had given her many Klonopin in the past, so I didn't feel bad taking one 15mg pill from her.

I just took it about 30 minutes ago and I am definitely enjoying its effects. The classic benzo feel is there, but it seems more warm and inviting. I'll just stick with Klonopin though as I have 100s of them.

Any other experiences with this benzo?

Well, I think next time I will double the dose. I am having a nice buzz, but nothing Klonopin ever couldn't provide. I am not even tired. At least it helps my Mom sleep!

restoril's a heavy sleeping pill. but it does absolutely nothing for me unless i mix it with nyquil or seraquil. and then i either pass out or just walk around out of it.

I've only had one experience with temazepam, with 75mg. I didn't notice any effects from it, but that's probably because I was also on 6-7mg of alprazolam and 60mg of immediate-release zolpidem(Ambien).

    haha. You think?!

Yes. 6mg Alprazolam = ~120mg Temazepam, so the effects would certainly be dulled by the former. As for the Zolpidem, I thought that the dose ceiling was 10mg or so? I never hear of people taking more than that. They usually switch them over to Temazepam or Triazolam if that doesn't work.

Why not take more than 10mg? The higher the dosage, the more fun it is. Shit, even 20mg had me feeling pretty good. 20-30mg of zolpidem is really good with some weed, also.

Yeah. I thought, though, that after 10mg, taking more was pointless. Or, perhaps this is a lie that is perpetuated by doctors. If you say that taking more than 10mg provided a greater effect, than surely you are correct!

Of course I'm correct:D Be careful though, because some people have hardcore blackouts from ambien.
