From what I've read PEI is one of the hardest provinces in which to get prescribed medical cannabis. It is extremely hard to find doctors willing to sign their name on the forms. They (like many doctors everywhere) don't seem to understand that they are not prescribing the patient the cannabis. They are simply signing their name to show that the patient does have a doctor with whom they have tried other options and that they would like to now try medical cannabis. The cannabis comes from the government, not the doctor. I believe that PEI is hard enough to find weed in in general. So, I don't know. As for you're situation, you will not receive a medical cannabis prescription simply because you don't feel like eating. It is prescribed to increase the appetites of those who are suffering from cancer, AIDS, etc. You don't seem to have either one. Your best bet would be to simply start smoking weed. You said that your friends smoke, so you already have a connection. I wouldn't worry about the cops either. Apparently it's pretty rare (like most of Canada) to go to court for possession.
