This summer, while I was with my current boyfriend, I fell in love with another guy, who had a girlfriend. Sure, he was playing me, but I didn't know that at the time; that he was also "in love" with 3 other girls at the time. So I guess in that sense, yeah, he was somebody that I wasn't supposed to love, and I'd never planned on falling in love with him when I met him, but things happen, and you can't control that sort of thing.
That sort of happened to me last summer. I met a guy that totally took me by surprise and I was crazy about him. Then all this stuff started being uncovered and he started acting totally differently and using me. Then he started telling me about other girls he was doing the same thing with. I was definitely crazy about him and it hurt a lot. I ended it when I woke up to him sleeping with one of my friends next to me and never looked back. That was definitely a difficult time in my life and I learned a lot. Looking back on it, I wouldn't really call it love on my part...it was more me caring more than I should, him using me, and me justifying it because I cared about him.

i was working at a gas station, and this guy came in to buy budweiser and marlboro lights. when he walked in, i had to turn around so he wouldn't see that my jaw literally dropped from how utterly beautiful he was. he came in a few more times over the course of a year, and each time, all we did was smile really big at each other and only exchange a few words. he disappeared for 6 or so months, but when i saw him again, i asked him to hike with me. i had no idea who he was or what he did, but i figured i might as well invite him in on one of my activities. turns out he loves to hike, so we kept hanging out. a month later, i moved in with him. it's been 8 months since then, and we're now making future plans together.
Oh yeah! I fell in love with my kids school bus driver who is 22 years older than me...the closest I ever came to love at first sight! We developed a sweet and sincere friendship until one day he truly looked into my eyes and realized that he was deeply in love with me too! We have without a doubt found true love, feeling about each other the way neither one of us ever have felt about anyone else before, a love we didn't even know existed... The only problem - I'm married (probably won't be much longer...) so we are keeping our relationship platonic...but I know that it is simply inevitable that sooner or later we will be sharing the rest of our lives together!
Is there a difference between love an lust? If so, what? I have lusted after a number of women in my life (never more than mentally) but the only woman I will ever love is my wife. One day at work a friend asked if I would be interested in meeting a girl. We met at a local restaurant, she was much better looking than I expected, a sweet girl. We watched a movie and then afterwards went for a horseback ride as the sun set. That was July 31,1988, and we have been together ever since. I am pretty sure if anything happened to her I would not have any heart left over to give to someone else.
I know what you mean. That's exactly how I feel about my bf. I've known him for 5 years and I've cared very very deeply for him since the day we met, regardless of the circumstances we were in. We've been together going on a year now and while I've thought that I've loved people in the past, but this is so much more than that. He is the love of my life and I cannot imagine not being with him.
