DMT question: what type and why this effect?

The cat piss smell makes one think that there was an ammonia wash at the end of extraction, sounds like some impure stuff. Was it powdery/crystal-like?

 

He said it was orange and resiny right? Yeah that's crap dmt there. I think the problem is that it's really impure and thus not vaporizing well enough for you to get a full dose of dmt before the tolerance starts building up. Still it should work if you smoke a lot as fast as possible. DMT should look like like solid, dry crystals or powder, anywhere from white to off white to yellow depending on purity. But definitely not resin like. I've had dark resin looking dmt before and had the same problem as you, but it worked when I took like 6 or 7 hits right in a row.*

*Also my face and throat were numb afterward and for awhile I experienced strange neurological effects like parts of my body twitching/going numb. Smoking highly impure red orange resiny dmt = smoking paint thinner, dude. Wouldn't recommend trying it again. Make it yourself if you want decent stuff, it's not that hard.

 

^ I had some jungle spice which was darkish red in color, I don't know if it was 'resiny' but that probably provided my most intense journey's thus far with DMT. It was certainly more harsh on the lungs but I definitely did not need a higher dose than some of the more pure DMT I've had.
