Closer shots of it in my album. It is a piece of a shelf unit, one of the walls. Took it out of an abandoned house yesterday and painted it.

Was in dire need for something bigger to paint on.. it is 6ft tall by 1 1/4ft wide approx.

The house was disgusting, I found the board in the upstairs bathtub, then saw the opposing shelf wall lodged under a chair. I might go grab it and have twins.

    That looks so amazing!

I wish I had artistic talent so I had use for all of the spare wooden pieces laying around in the basement!

    :) Thank you very much!

I was feeling down and out while painting this yesterday but it definitely lifted my spirit when I saw it completed.

I am in need of spare wooden pieces :p

Went back in that abandoned house and grabbed the twin piece and one of the slats to the shelf... score. Perhaps I'll post the new when I complete the others.

Good stuff... this is a thing you could take in a few directions if you were able to get a number of boards of similar dimensions.

    Nice colors. :)

    Thank y'all!

I'll be posting the new one I finished last night in a minute.

It ties in wonderfully with the first piece, then I have that small slat to finish.
I do want more of these boards, they are very pleasant to paint on.

this is very cool. I don't understand the white circle and the bar beneath it though.

this would make a great skateboard!

I bet you would like to do a mural

Imagine a series of wall panels covering one side of a room- above a chair rail or something- illuminated by recessed or track lighting.

    Good stuff!

Freedom is how many choices an individual has?.. I have too much freedom :p

I do want more of these pressed wood pieces.

I'm not feeling that these last two paintings were "work," more of doing what I love to do. Maybe I can get into a daily groove of something like this. One a day would be an outstanding feat.. as it has been the past two days.

that's very creative and thoughtfully put together art. are you professional or do you do it for art's sake. either way, keep it up! it's a blessing to me and probably alot of other creatively-oriented folks. all original art is mind-expanding. i am always in awe of new and creative things. don't stop! paisley skye.
