My Dad died last night

It's true. I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, but I settled on my favorite forum.

terrible shock to the system in so many ways. my deepest sympathies.

when my pop died, it took me months to begin to deal with it. i miss the ornery ol' fart.

I appreciate everyone's support. He was 88, died peacefully. I'm okay.

When my dad died I was kind of torn up for some time. I can relate to your grief, it's a sad state when someone as close passes. I can remember all the good things and times we had. It somehow eased his passing into the next world for me, I then knew he found the peace he had been seeking and there was a wave of contentment that followed. I wish you well.
