Okay... some of you guys may be aware that I do some amateur dramatics stuff just to keep my hand in the arena performance wise... Last year, I played the part of Judas in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar which involved stretching my vocal range way beyond anything that I'd ever sung before... hard work but it was worth it... This year, I'm in an old style musical called Crazy For You... a Gershwin musical... I play a character part... so I'm attempting to learn a Hungerian accent... no, that's not the problem... and I only have to learn one song... so that's not really the challenge of this show... no... ths year, I have to learn tap-dancing... I consider myself to have the grace and style of Julien Clarey on that fucking dance show... I had my first tap lessons tonight... my ankles are on fire... my knees are crying out in agony... my calf muscles have decided to protest and are now incapable of doing anything... my legs are completely fucked... and I'm suddenly aware of the full joys of being 36... Fun, eh?... Fly...
