How to get medical pot in cali.

I'm moving to cali with some friends not this summer but the next. And i'm wondering.. once i'm there what would be a good way to go about getting a medical prescription for pot? I actually have a problem where i can't stop tensing up my joints and it leads to pain. And pot does stop this problem. Would this problem be enough to warrent a presrciption for it?

 

Clinching joints like that is anxiety, I talked to my doctor about getting it for that reason out here in CO. He was totally for it, because he knew I wasn't lying. (Had tried Valium, Xanax, Ativan- hated them all..) But I couldn't get one, because out here in Colorado you can't get one for anxiety or mental issues- Only physical pain and heavy duty eating disorders, he said that in cali you can get one for that reason. Talk to a doctor, don't talk about weed AT ALL, and tell him you get anxiety so bad that you (and i believe you actually do) clinch your joints like that. Assuming you really do have anxiety, of coarse. He may try you on valium or xanax for a month, but after that tell him you just dislike being on pills in general, and rarely will even take advil or tylenol.. The reason for this is because if you go to a doctor and immediately mention medicinal refer, they will assume you are trying to rip them and that will RUIN your chances of ever getting one at all, ever. Ty. For religous reasons i CANNOT take pills. Only natural organic plants. If i were to tell this to the dock do you think he would then bring up pot or catch on to me and tell me that he's not going to perscribe me pot?

 

Just say you feel off about taking pills, like it just feels wrong to you.

 

Really? How do you know that? I only ask because, while I don't live in California, policy is that you can have it for any medical reason. The fact that you mention it specifically shouldn't hurt your case.

 

If your claims are true, find a weed doctor and have your med records sent ahead.
