Why do people back off from discussions about computers and computer networks etc? I find them fascinating but I know others dont, its just I thought the computer forum would be a lot livelier than it is and am surprised that more people dont post here. I just wondered if there was something that would make it a livelier place or (LOL) are computers really a lot more dreary than I think they are lol?
Given the context of the forum I don't think it's the best place to expect a thriving conversion about packets and protocols.
yeah but i did think there would be more posts about what people do on the internet etc and stuff they do with computers. I didnt really expect a full on discussion about TCP/IPv6
Because hippies are all too old to get it. If you want a lively computer forum, go find one. There's plenty.
i just joined a computer trade school last week, so im starting to really get into computers. make a thread and i'm down if i understand it haha
If there were a couple of things my computers could do that they dont presently have the capability of I would leave my partner and marry my computer lol theres only so much a woman can do to satisfy a guy lol - i spend more time with my computer than with my partner. I work with computers, most of my spare time is spent on computers I love computers.
Well look @ how many message bases this site has (Its amazing they have as much activity as they all have)
I remember back on my first windows computer we had a 10g hard drive and we kept saying how are we ever gonna fill up so much?! Then again we were running everything off of floppy disks and the old terrible hard disks =X
