officially going to (junior) college

    so i tried working, and i absoulutly despised it. so now i'm going to school starting this summer! i'm gonna be an artist! i'm taking drawing and photography classes during the summer, and during the year more art and required classes like math and english. i'm actually really excited, it got old sitting around the house all the time!! ^,^

    what is the difference between junior and senior college?..also congratulations on doing something productive

    Junior colleges only offer associates (2 year) degree's.

    basically, junior college is where you go to save money while taking introductory classes that you hope to transfer to a real school. or to get an associate's degree. same as a community college, basically.

    Community colleges are some of the best bang for the buck in education. One of my sons has a 4 year degree which gets him nada and a 2 year community college RN degree which started him at $37.00 an hour...pretty easy to do that math. Congrats on the school and have fun learning.
