There is a girl i really like and she is asking about a guy we see regularly and says she likes him as in she feels sorry for him. He chats to us and jokes. I don't dislike him or anything. I am not sure if she "likes" him. Should I ask her if she does and how can I ask her if she does "like" him?

Also, will it make me look as though I am jealous?
