K so the story is I'm in love with my best friend. Her name is Stormie and I've known her sense we were 6. We're 16 now and she asked me to prom. At first I was ecstatic but then I realized that she wanted to go with me as a friend. I've tried telling her my feelings before but she always changes the subject or goes off and hugs somebody else and starts a conversation with them before i can get my point across. Help me plz i really don't know what to do. Plus im using a house account so everyone in this house uses this account but its ok we're so open to each other that it doesn't matter.

Even if she wants to go with u as a friend you should go. Look you are leaving hs and your child hood behind, don’t you think the prom should be spent with a close friend someone who you can look back on the experience with fondly years from now?
Definitely go to prom with her since it's so close to prom and you've already said yes. Don't stop being friends with her but as a girl I know where this is going: nowhere. It will be hard but you should definitely start turning your interest to other girls. She may even respond in a jealous way and want you once she knows that there is competition!
