I can barely stand Sledgehammer......don't like him in Genesis!!!

 

OMG!There's a artist or group we disagree on.I happen to think Genesis where at there BEST with Gabriel.

 

Say Anything.. is one of the best romantic comedies ever and I can't imagine it without In Your Eyes

I don't like most of the songs posted, but Peter Gabriel is an awesome artist

 

When Peter left Genesis, there was no more Genesis. Kind of like when Steve Perry joined Journey, there was no more Journey.

 

I have to dissagree with that.I hate the way people just dismiss albums like "A trick of the tail","Wind and wuthering", and "Duke" like that.It wasn't until "Invisible touch" that they "went pop" as they say.

I think Phil Collins' Genesis was pretty pop, especially Duke, but that doesn't mean it was bad pop.

Hell, "That's All" is my favorite Genesis song, and that's definitely pretty poppy.

 

Peter was awesome with Genesis.
The 1st couple of albums with Phil as lead are pretty darn good-then they went pop and suck.
I have tons of early bootleg Genesis CD's, and on a few Peter likes to make fun of Phil. Pretty funny.

Peter is great on his own as well.

I live this version of Don't Give Up even better than the "So" version-which I love too.
