Well a couple of my friends and I are planning to take a trip to Europe next summer for several weeks to about a month. Right now, we are slowly trying to gather as much money as we can and trying to analyze which countries we'd most want to go and visit. I've been to Poland and England several times and I absolutely love it there. As a matter of fact, I'm considering after graduating from high school to move on over there for a year or so, just to see what the experience is like. There is something about Europe, I'm not sure whether it is the atmosphere or the people or the culture, that I just perfer to than America. I'm getting off topic though.

So I was just wondering what countries would be great to visit. And I don't want to sound like a jerk or anything, I'm totally up for exploring the land and mountains (God, I love them), historical monuments and buildings, but I'm also looking for some countries that have a nightlife to it to. Sure were looking forward to some drinking and experimenting with marijuana or shrooms or whatever we happen to come across with, but we love learning about new things such as history (my favorite subject), the art, the culture, the food and about the cities.

Anybody with suggestions of countries with any of these features, please post your ideas and I would love to talk about them. Also any great cities or attractions to visit at that country would also be a big help. Thank you.

Holland seems to meet a lot of your criteria. Rich history with plenty old cities, galleries, museums, but also good nightlife and very relaxed about drugs & alcohol. Plus Dutch people are quite hot IMHO. Amsterdam is great, but I would also check out Leiden and Utrecht. Much smaller, less touristy and both have major universities, so a good contingent of young people and decent night life.
