Hey guys! When making cannabutter does it smell up the house alot? Also when making brownies with canna butter does it smell like weed alot of no? Thanks
making the butter or oil smells a bit. it isn't exactly like the smell of weed smoke, but it is pretty noticeable. when you're baking the actual brownies, the only smell will be from the brownies.
I mad them at my sisters place. and the whole trailer stunk. I was making the ganja oil on the stove so. that's why it smelled. anything you cook on the stove will make your house smell
I made cannabutter once. It really does smell up the house... I had the fan overhead going + the windows open and it smelled for a whole day. Only do it in your kitchen if your parents won't be around for at least a day. Maybe buy some incense, or cook a bunch of garlic and onions to mask the smell.
i'm making some right now, i use vegetable oil instead of butter though. it is simmering on the stove at a low heat as we speak. it smells, but i find it closer to the smell of a vaporizer than actual weed smoke. i've got the kitchen window open with a fan blowing air out of the window, and it seems to work well.
