I found out a friend of a friend I'd introduced 4-AcO-DMT to had to go to the emergency room. He had taken a dose of 55mg(body weight of about 230lb), and had a massively overwhelming ++++. He had been vomiting and dry heaving uncontrollably, to the point his esophagus ruptured and he began to choke on his own blood. It turns out he had some pre-existing conditions. One was alcohol abuse..Another thing he found out, was that he had arsenic poisoning from handling diatomite at his job, which is also known to cause a lot of nasty side effects. I also found out he had been drinking prior, despite my stern directives that he avoid alcohol/medications. This probably created manifold bad juju which made the nausea worse. So the man is no role model for health. The rupture just as easily could have been triggered by a rollercoaster ride, or screaming too loud and drinking too much at a concert, etc. This was his third trip on 4-AcO, his previous two being of an identical dosage, but not really exceeding a gentle +++. Another friend I had introduced to it..He not only mixed it with a few beers, he took a dose of 160+ mg. He had eaten two 55mg caps, and another at t:2hrs. Not only that, but he had eaten several vicodin tablets to alleviate the horrible pain his body was in after the comedown. He got off with slight jaundice and a horrible hangover. I wanted to slap him when I found out what he had done. Im nearly as angry at myself, that I would allow such a sacred and powerful compound to be squandered. It's like giving a book of zen proverbs to a family of beavers. I've since cut off their supply and won't ever let them do it again unless Im sitting(even then it's a big maybe.) Now I don't mean to dissuade people from 4-AcO-DMT. To the contrary, this goes to show 4-AcO-DMT is a very forgiving chemical. I think some people are simply cognitively or spiritually incapable of respecting the benefits and dangers of psychedelics, regardless how horrific their experience. Maybe in a future life they will grasp it, but don't be the one to send them there prematurely like I could have done.
Damn, that's fukt. 4-AcO-DMT is definitely very gentle and forgiving, but it'll fuck you in the ass if you don't respect it as being EXTREMELY powerful.
I've never tried DMT, but I've had a couple of particularly powerful experiences with 4-AcO-DMT where I was utterly immersed in a universe of vivid fractals and interacting with entities. I've never hit that level with psilocybin alone..I've seen that level from the outside, but still been more or less grounded in my usual reality. With 4-AcO-, it was totally overwhelming and abstract, much like I'd imagine DMT to be like. The guy who had to go to the hospital..He reported to have been on an empty stomach, save for a few beers and some pickles(facepalm). Im wondering if the pickles, containing vinegar/acetic acid, sped up the absorption..
I've had some pretty powerful experiences with 4-AcO-DMT, also. Definitely right up there with the most powerful psychedelic experiences I've had, right up there with high doses of 2ce. And yeah......I'm guessing the pickles didn't help matters. lol
No doubt the pickles contributed to the tissue strain on his esophagus. This is really an alcohol and carelessness horror story. They are lucky both to be alive, and you are smart for cutting off their supply. Don't encourage or empower people who choose to behave wrecklessly.
I can't believe alcohol is still legal. That shit needs to be banned. :argue: No, but seriously, sorry about your friends and glad they're ok. Hope it was a learning experience at least.
I couldn't wait to hear the story after reading that title. But of course this was because it was mistreated. That was funny.
Well of course it's legal. It only kills ~70,000 people a year in the US. Contrast that with marijuana or LSD or mescaline. Oh, right. It boggles the mind, don't it.
