    Wow, what a mellow, amazing songs this guy has. He makes me so happy when I listen to his music :)

    I personally think he makes Islam look really good, he should be their new spokesman.

    Favorite song? Father and son, it's especially deep if you've never had a real father.

    Salam alaikum, peace be upon you my brother.. Yes, hes a great musician, and Muslim.. Still he is harassed In American Airports..

    I think we should all quit flying anyways.. not to change the subject really, But the way Airlines treat obese people. I wouldnt be surprised if some overweight person creates a terror plot.. :love:

    He wrote all his good songs before he converted to Islam, so how can Islam take credit for his work? Although I did hear a new song he wrote recently that was OK.

    Some people still have a hard time forgiving him for turning his back on his commercial success, abandoning his fans, stopped playing live, converted to Islam, stop making music for a couple of decades, supposedly supported some radical Islamic group that supported questionable activities (I don't know all the details).

    I'm glad he's back and writing and singing again, his old stuff inspired many people, but his newer persona has yet to make a significant impact. His best days are in the past...

    I downloaded a crapload of Cat Stevens songs on Limewire after first hearing Wild World.
    Only one was actually him (Another Saturday Night)

    Same thing happened to me with the Mamas and the Papas.
