I love when the trees get the leaves and its a little rainy, smells so fucking fresh!!! I miss that smell, I used to live in the woods now I live right in he heart of Downtown Montreal.. Smells like hobo piss in comparison to my nice little creek before.. but goddamn it makes me feel young again!!!!!
It smells fresh in a worm kind of way. I love spring but find after days and days of rain, it smells like worms.
I love all the smells described in this thread. I walked by a cherry blossom tree yesterday evening. It smelled so incredibly good.
I loved the smell of the fresh rain a week ago...now its just annoying. I had the pleasure of smelling a fresh lilac bush the other day tho...it was beautiful
yeah, spring rain smells like worms, fish, and dog shit. the good odors come, well now normally but apparently a little later this year.
A valley very close to my home, where I go with Gala in the morning, is totally overgrown with honeysuckle. The smell is outstanding first thing in the morning!
Everytime I smell dog pee I think its beef. Then after a while I realize that it is pee. Do I have a disorder?
Methinks You Need To Try Another Butcher, Or Start Buying A Better Quality Cut Of Beef... Cheers Glen.
the hobos that didnt bathe all winter are starting to thaw out and it smells like pits for 3 blocks around each one.. but when they aint around all I smell is fresh deciduous kickin' my ass extraordinaire. Me so happy..
Me too. I can only smell certain foods and chemicals. Once in a while, if it's REALLY strong, I can smell a flower if I get right in there and inhale it, but I have allergies, so I don't do that much... It's been getting a little better the past year or so, though. Been trying aromatherapy and junk. I do still appreciate spring, though. Winter is shit. It really is. Nothing but hardship and darkness and unrelenting cold and wet and arthritis. It's so nice to see the sun again, and not to have to wear no less than 6 layers and be so incumbered you can barely get in the car, shut the door and get your seatbelt hooked in less than 15 minutes...
